Unigard Insurance Companies, a Washington-based property and casualty insurer, announces two new appointments and a promotion.
Harris Clarke recently joined Unigard as assistant vice president of personal lines product management. He is responsible for personal lines products and pricing in multiple states. Clarke joined Unigard with more than 14 years of experience in insurance systems and product implementation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Military Academy.
Joe Muller was promoted to assistant vice president of personal lines product management. He will also work with company field staff and oversee product and pricing decisions in several states. Muller has been with Unigard for 14 years and has a background in underwriting and product management. Muller graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Christy Niemann recently joined Unigard and will serve as assistant vice president of personal lines underwriting. She has 22 years of prior industry experience. Niemann earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska. She is a designated Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Consultant and currently serves on the board of directors for the Idaho Insurance Guaranty Association and Red Cross (Mount Rainier chapter).
