FlexAuto features Precise PricingSM, a rating process guaranteed to provide more competitive pricing for a broader range of risks. With FlexAuto, Unigard provides agents direct access to its policy rating process. Unigard agents in Idaho, Utah, Oregon and Arizona are already using FlexAuto and recently shared positive feedback about the program.

How Precise Pricing works
Precise Pricing simultaneously considers a number of customer traits and how they affect each other. This sophisticated rating and pricing structure reflects an individual driver’s risk characteristics and results in more personalized and accurate premium pricing. Thirteen factors are considered including prior bodily injury limits, number of children, home ownership, number of vehicles and credit score/age comparison, among others.
FlexAuto’s automated underwriting model will place policyholders in the appropriate pricing tier based on their individual rating attributes, so the program can competitively write all levels of drivers, from an agency’s best drivers to those who’ve had a few bumps in the road. Discounts for multiple vehicles, anti-theft devices, passive restraints and driving activity-free will make premiums even more affordable.
