Auto Claims

In the event of an automobile loss:

  • We'll assign a claim representative and a claim number to your case.
  • Your claim representative will contact you to collect detailed facts about the loss and let you know about your coverage.
  • We'll ask you to provide a damage estimate or assign an appraiser to inspect the vehicle at your convenience. Your selection of a body shop is an important part of getting back safely on the road. You are free to select any body shop you are confident will do repairs to your satisfaction. If you like, here are a few suggested possibilities that are part of our Quality Service Repair Program shops that provide guaranteed repairs to your vehicle.
  • If your car is repairable, you'll be issued a check for the repairs minus your deductible.
  • If the car is a total loss, you'll be contacted to discuss its fair market value.
  • If you are injured as a result of the accident, your claim representative will explain all applicable coverages that apply. Your claim representative will work with you until the injury claim is closed.
